Gynecological examinations

Gynecological examination includes a standard examination when an instrument (speculum) is inserted into the vagina, and a “bimanual” examination when the uterus, ovaries and fallopian tubes are examined.

Today, along with a gynecological examination, a vaginal ultrasound is almost always done, which examines the uterus, ovaries and fallopian tubes as well as structures in the pelvis.

3D vaginal ultrasound provides us with additional information, especially in the case of anomalies and changes in the uterus, as well as suspected ovarian malignancies. Colposcopy is part of the examination where the cervix is analyzed with a microscope.
